Minerva I. Zamora


Minerva is a Rio Grande Valley native who primarily practices in the area of general civil litigation. In addition to serving local individual and small business clients, Minerva has worked on matters for the following organizations: Shell Oil Company, Union Carbide, Lebanon Chemical Company, BASF, TOTAL E&P, HEB Grocery Company, Rush Truck Centers, Lone Star National Bank, International Bank of Commerce, and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brownsville, Texas.


Along with handling a full docket of clients, Minerva is the firm’s Managing Partner. Her duties relative to that role include:

• Establishing, communicating, and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, training, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; establishing compensation strategies.

• Establishing law firm financial strategies by forecasting and anticipating requirements and trends; distributing monetary resources; and evaluating results.

• Generating revenues by attracting and pleasing clients; obtaining new referrals from existing and past clients.

• Maintaining law firm’s excellent reputation by doing anything and everything legally, ethically, and morally appropriate to assist the firm in helping clients and potential clients.
